Control The Sewage

First, get control of the sewage that is coming in. If you have to line the area with rags or begin to mop it up to prevent it from getting any further into your home and causing more damage. You need to do what you have to in order to prevent further damage. Get control of the sewage that is already in your home to prevent its spread. Raw sewage needs to be cleaned up properly, so you don't want it getting all over your home.

Snake The Drain

You have a sewage backup that is more than likely caused by a clog somewhere in the drain. Use a rotating snake to snake the drain and remove the clog. This is probably not likely to be removed with just a plunger, a snake is going to need to be used. If you don't have a rotating snake on hand, you can borrow one from your local tool rental facility. If you have a clog in the drain, it could be caused by too much toilet paper, feminine products that were flushed, flushable wipes, baby wipes, or even roots that have grown through your drain. Snake the drain to remove the clog.

Hire A Professional Plumber

If you aren't able to remove the clog in your drain on your own, you're going to need to hire a professional plumber to remove the clog for you. You could have a collapsed drainage pipe or some other type of issue that you may not be able to repair on your own. Either way, you cannot allow raw sewage to continue to come into your home. You need to take quick action and call a professional.
